Whether you have a business plan or have not completed one before, I am re-sharing a business plan template from the Hamilton Small Business Enterprise Centre as a great resource that all small business owners can benefit from. If you have never done a business plan before this is a great template to help guide the process and ask some of the questions you may not have officially outlined or thought about your business.

If you already have a business plan, this is a great opportunity to review and perhaps add to it with some of the sections included in the template.

For any business owner, an annual or bi-annual review of your business plan is a good idea to ensure you remain on track and keep financial goals in sight. Update your plan with progress, accomplishments and new opportunities or challenges that have occurred since your last review.
Remember, your business plan is a living document! Which means it evolves just as your business does. You can even keep dated versions to track your progress as well.

This template includes:

  • Benefits and purpose of a business plan
  • Tips to help you maximize your opportunities and how to meet challenges
  • Promotion plan and more
